Merry Christmas from the Krampus!

Happy Holidays friends!  As it is Christmas morning, I wanted to give everyone a special present--even if you don't celebrate Christmas, you still deserve something.  This year has been a real roller-coaster for my comic career, but was ultimately the best year I've had since trying to make it into the comic book industry (a certain Youngblood issue was definitely the biggest part of that!).  To celebrate this, and to say thank you for all of your support, I wanted to share with you the first eight page of my graphic novella How the Krampus Saved Christmas

If you've been following me on Facebook or Twitter, you know that How the Krampus Saved Christmas nearly had a contract in hand in early 2013 from multiple companies, but things fell through.  We had then planned to potentially launch it as a webcomic, but for reasons I won't get into, we scrapped that idea.  The project is currently on hold as we look into repackaging it and repitching it to publishers.  Hopefully it is something we'll see published eventually.

How the Krampus Saved Christmas tells the story of the Krampus, a semi-demonic entity of European folklore that once traveled with Saint Nicholas, punishing bad children that didn't deserve presents.  In our comic, the Krampus must come out of retirement when the mass commercialization of Christmas has caused St. Nick (aka Santa Claus) to become a ruthless corrupt businessman.

Please enjoy this special Christmas treat for you!  The script was written by me, with art by Dominic Black, letters by Adam Wollet, and colors by John Ksawery!

You'll have to scroll down a bit to get to the pages so that they aren't cut off by the sidebar!

You can pretend that this time was spent unwrapping my gift to you!

I hope you enjoy it!

Merry Christmas!
